Overview of Role
Primary financial role working closely with the MD, with responsibility for all day-to-day financial reporting within the business. This role will report into the central Ergo Group finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer invoices and take an active role in credit collection
- Processing supplier invoice and monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger for your business units and the delivery of high quality financial and management reporting
- Bank postings and reconciliations
- Manage and reconcile supplier rebates and incentives
- Review and approval of all VAT,VIES returns
- Responsible for journal reviews and balance sheet recs monthly
- Review of current processes and drive improvements and efficiency.
- Manage the statutory audit and corporation tax queries
- Ensure tax compliance within the business entity
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for assigned Business Units
- Prepare and submit reporting pack to Group Finance function on a timely basis following month end
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA).
- 3 + years PQE
- Post qualification Industry experience desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; especially Excel.
- Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high attention to detail
Knowledge Of:
- Microsoft Office suite essential Microsoft Navision and Filemaker advantageous
