With continued growth, we’re now looking for an experienced Finance Manager to strengthen our finance team and build the backbone of financial operations for scale.
The Role
This is a pivotal role in our Finance function, ideal for a dynamic self-starter with a sharp eye for detail and a mindset for growth. You will be responsible for owning and improving core financial processes, reporting and controls, with a clear remit to prepare our finance operations for scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-End & Reporting: Own the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial reports and KPI packs to senior leadership.
- Process Improvement: Assess, optimise and implement financial processes and systems that support scalability and automation.
- Financial Operations: Provide oversight and strategic guidance on the day-to-day financial operations, executed by the Senior Finance Administrator. Responsibilities include reviewing bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable processes, and employee expenses to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and best practices. You will play a key role in strengthening our operational finance function through effective delegation, review, and process improvement.
- Audit Ownership: Lead the preparation and delivery of the year-end audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors.
- Financial Technology: Actively support finance system development and implementation projects as we evolve our tech stack.
- Financial Analysis: Partner with the Director of Finance to deliver insightful analysis for strategic and operational decision-making.
- Business Partnering: -Partner with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure financial insights and commercial awareness are embedded across the business.
About You
We’re looking for someone ambitious, collaborative, strategic and solution oriented. You should be excited by working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and comfortable taking ownership of your remit with autonomy.
Your Skills & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong hands-on experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in financial modelling, process improvement, and systems implementation.
- Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders.
- Growth mindset – you challenge the status quo and look for better ways of working.
- Highly organised with an exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with NetSuite, Xero, or similar systems is advantageous.
