We’re looking for a Part-Time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our warm and welcoming team! This role involves working both midweek and weekends year-round, so flexibility is essential.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisors, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent service across our Bar, Restaurant, and Function Rooms. If you're friendly, efficient, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To greet regular customers courteously.
- To find appropriate tables and sit guests for dining.
- To take food and drink orders in a hospitable manner.
- Monitor the bar / restaurant floor to ensure efficient and personalised service is delivered to customers.
- Ensure a good working knowledge of the food and drinks on our menus and be willing and able to make recommendations.
- Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
- To up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible both in the hotel or wider group.
- Completing daily and weekly cleaning checklists ensuring high standards of hygiene at all times.
About The Role
The Ideal candidate:
- Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant would be advantageous.
- Enjoy working with the public
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Maximum flexibility with regards to hours/ must be available to work over a 7 day period- Must be flexible to work midweek and weekends
- Be a great team player.
- Fluent in English.
