Assistant Food & Beverage Manager Required For a Busy Irish Bar & Restaurant in Zurich Switzerland
The ideal candidate will work in conjunction with the management team in order to develop menus and action plans that will directly improve the operation. You will lead by example and develop a team, focused and motivated, to perform at the highest standards of customer care. You will manage and provide support to the Food & Beverage team and ensure that service standards are met to the highest quality.
The Role:
- Lead the execution of the highest service initiatives in all F&B Operations
- Lead the team from the front by ensuring standards of service and guest expectations are exceeded at all times.
- Evaluate levels of guest satisfaction with a focus on continuous improvement
- Being highly visible and interface with customers on a regular basis
- Resolve conflicts and issues where necessary
- Train and develop staff members, assuring a professional manner.
- To manage all SOP’s in all food and beverage areas with regard to implementation and updating.
- As a member of the Management Team, you must be willing to carry out duties outside of your specific job if called upon to do so.
This role reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.
Skills/Experience
- In-depth knowledge of the Gastro pub trade and late-night venues from an operational viewpoint.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits and craft beer
- A passion for delivering exceptional food & beverage experience to all patrons
- Well-presented and highly organised with a calm disposition
- Demonstrate the ability to resolve problems and conflict, and work efficiently under pressure at all times
- At least two years of proven and progressive experience in a similar role
