Responsibilities & Roles
- Greet and seat guests promptly and professionally.
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions (including allergens and drinks recommendations).
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems.
- Relay orders clearly to kitchen/bar staff and serve items efficiently.
- Upsell specials or premium beverages when appropriate.
- Set up tables with linen, cutlery, crockery, glassware, and condiments.
- Prepare and restock service stations throughout the shift and for events.
- Clear and reset tables promptly, returning dirty items to the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in dining and service areas.
- Process payments accurately using card machines and tills.
- Handle cash and receipts in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist in setting up, serving, and clearing down for functions, conferences, or private events.
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and fire safety regulations.
- Ensure proper storage, rotation, and labelling of food and beverage stock.
- Cooperate with colleagues in the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service.
- Participate in team briefings and assist team members as needed.
- Respond to guest queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Aim to exceed guest expectations in service and hospitality.

- Flexibility – Willing to work evenings, weekends, and split shifts as required.
- Experience – Previous experience in hospitality, particularly hotels or restaurants, is advantageous.
- Language – Fluent English required; additional language skills are an asset.
Requirements
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred but not essential.
- Neat, professional appearance with good communication skills.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to high standards of service.
