Muckross Park Hotel & Spa, part of the iNUA Collection, is a renowned Five Star hotel located in Killarney, Co. Kerry. The hotel is surrounded by nature in Killarney National Park and is only 4 Km from the town centre.
We are now delighted to announce that we are seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team in the Monks Lounge. This is a permanent role, based in the hotel, offering a very attractive package and benefits.
Overview of the Role
To provide exceptional service to our guests in Monks Lounge and to maximise guest satisfaction and food and beverage profitability.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures that guests receive high quality service
- Ensure that the Lounge premises are in neat and orderly condition at all times
- Greet and seat the guests, and makes sure that they receive prompt, courteous and efficient service
- Provide guests with high quality service
- Perform all service duties of the Monks Lounge, i.e. food service, beverage service, room service etc.
- Seek appropriate opportunities to communicate with guests to personalise the service
- Ensures readiness and compliance among all team members
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in high-volume operations is a distinct advantage.
- Must have excellent knowledge of HACCP.
- Understanding of Food and Beverage procedures
- Must be flexible within the role
- Good communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
