We are looking for a Part-Time Food & Beverage Assistants to join our dedicated Restaurant & Bar team at The Maritime Hotel, Bantry. In this front-facing role, you'll help create a warm and welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring they enjoy a memorable dining experience. You will play a key part in the delivery of exceptional service, from greeting and seating guests to serving food and beverages.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Assist with table preparation, setting, and resetting
- Take orders and serve food and beverages, including cocktails, in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the bar and restaurant areas
- Share knowledge of the local area with guests, helping them enjoy everything Bantry has to offer
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and friendly service
- Work closely with team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Monitor stock levels and maintain a well-organised, well-stocked service area
Skills & Qualifications
- Outgoing and personable with excellent communication skills
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Prior experience in food service or a customer-facing role is desirable
- Friendly, professional, and committed to delivering great guest experiences
- Willingness to learn and take part in training initiatives
