Food Service Assistant

What you'll do:
- Support with food preparation, presentation, and service to company standards
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly, welcoming approach
- Operate the till and handle cashier duties when required
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and equipment in line with hygiene standards
- Restock condiments, counters, and vending machines as needed
- Follow HACCP and health & safety guidelines, including safe use of cleaning chemicals
- Take part in training to maintain and improve service standards
- Assist with special functions and occasional overtime when required
What you'll bring:
- A positive, customer-focused attitude with good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and support colleagues where needed
- High standards of personal hygiene and presentation (uniform provided)
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks, shifts, and occasional events
- Awareness of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety practices
- Willingness to learn and take on new training
- Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to delivering quality service
- Previous catering or food service experience is an advantage, but not essential
