General Operative

Location: Co Dublin

Reporting to: Manager

Contract: Permanent

Hours per week : 15 HOURS + 15 h cover =30h

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 11-2PM

Cleaning Duties-

· Work effectively and adhere to all Site Specific and ISS Procedures and instructions.

· Take responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment used in the course of your duties.

· Ensure cleaning activities are completed in a manner which will not compromise the health and safety of employees and visitors to the site.

· Ensure all equipment is safe before use and report any faults to machinery and be aware of service requirements.

· Report health and safety related issues to the supervisor with minimum delay.

· Follow all gowning procedures as per site procedures and SOPs.

Practical

• Ensure high standard of cleaning as directed by supervisor
• Use and care of cleaning equipment

Customer Relations

• Encourage good relations with all clients on site and promptly deal with any issues
• Promote ISS Ireland

Training & HSEQ

• Partake in basic induction training for new staff and any required ongoing training
• Cooperate with safe working practices and work in accordance with the company’s HSEQ Policies
• Understand how ISO fits into daily business operations.
• Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site
• Use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (w/a)

Other features of the job

It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours. As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
