Job Scope
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Support Engineer to join our growing technology team. Operating within a fast-paced telecoms and infrastructure build environment, this role is integral to maintaining IT systems that support office-based and remote staff.
Our new IT Support Engineer will provide frontline support, manage core cloud services, and play a key role in the administration of Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and mobile device management. Supporting the implementation of a number of new business initiatives is an additional component to this role
Need to Have
Relevant Third Level Degree Qualification in a technical or IT discipline a distinct advantage.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, including user account and SharePoint management
Strong working knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Intune, with experience managing both devices and compliance policies
Understanding of IT security frameworks ISO 27001, ITIL etc.
Knowledge of SaaS
Clear and professional communication skills — both written and verbal
Knowledge of current technical solutions and working processes across the relevant fields
Experience in systems and hardware administration and configuration desirable
Experience delivering efficiencies through process/delivery improvement
Proven ability to communicate with both internal and external clients from both a deliverable and engagement perspective
Certifications (e.g. MS-102, AZ-104, CompTIA Security+, or ISO 27001 training) are advantageous
Need to Do
- Perform IT Helpdesk duties
- Provide technical support to the business as needed
- Support the implementation of new IT technical systems and processes in accordance with agreed Quality Standards
- Manage user accounts for all systems and provide technical assistance where required
- Provide training on technical systems to meet changing operational and strategic needs
- Update and maintain company documentation
- Assist with management of ISMS
- Other tasks as directed by the IT Manager

Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
