About the Unit
Lead the Future of Sustainable Farming in Ireland – Join Yara as Head of Commercial Partnerships!
As part of our UK & Ireland commercial leadership team, and reporting directly to the VP for UK & Ireland, you’ll be home-based within Replublic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
You will be responsible for leading our Irish commercial team, delivering growth through strategic partnerships, and providing high-quality, value-driven solutions to our customers. This is a pivotal role in advancing our mission of sustainable agriculture.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for this role are:
- Play an active role within the UK & Ireland Commercial Leadership Team
- Lead and develop the commercial strategy for Ireland, including full P&L responsibility.
- Grow customer engagement and market share across Ireland through a strong business partnership model.
- Anticipate farmer needs and translate them into commercially successful and impactful solutions.
- Drive innovation in our product and service portfolio to meet evolving market demands and strengthen brand differentiation.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of commercial activities.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing commercial team.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making using CRM tools and best practices.
- Champion our low-carbon product offerings and position Yara as a leader in sustainable agriculture.
- Work closely with Marketing and Agronomy teams to define and execute impactful business plans.
Profile
- University Degree in Agriculture/Science/Business Marketing
- FACTS qualification (or equivalent in ROI)
- Proven track record in a senior commercial position, with at least 2 years in agriculture.
- Deep understanding of the Irish fertilizer market, broad understanding of the European fertilizer market
- Strong Leadership skills
- Results-oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Willingness to travel across Ireland and the UK as required.
