About the Role:
MedGen Healthcare Ireland is currently hiring Healthcare Assistants for multiple roles in County Kildare and nearby areas. We are seeking compassionate, dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to residents
- Build positive relationships with residents by offering companionship and emotional support
- Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and daily living activities while maintaining their dignity
- Help organise and participate in social and recreational activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Nurse in Charge or management
Requirements:
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivant (or currently in progress)
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting or healthcare environment as a Healthcare Assistant
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Valid eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland (please note: sponsorship not available)
