Job Description
MedGen Healthcare Ireland is currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants for positions across County Dublin and surrounding counties.
We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to support our teams in delivering high-quality, person-centred care in residential and nursing home settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff in providing personal and practical care to residents
- Support residents with daily living activities, including hygiene and mobility
- Promote and maintain residents’ dignity, independence, and quality of life
- Help organise and participate in social and recreational activities
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to infection control guidelines
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Perform any additional duties as directed by the Nurse in Charge or management
Candidate Requirements
- QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support (or equivalent) – completed/ in progress
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting as a HCA or in a care home environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland- non sponsorship
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
