Job Description:
Advantage Forwarding Ltd, a reputable Dundalk-based transport company, is seeking a dedicated and professional HGV Delivery Driver to join our team. This full-time role primarily involves domestic deliveries, with no UK/EU or overnight work required. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of vehicles, including 3.5t vans, rigid trucks, and artic trucks with mega trailers. Most days will start and end at our Dundalk depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a range of vehicles including 3.5t vans, rigid trucks, and artic trucks with mega trailers.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods within Ireland.
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
- Occasionally assist with warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid and up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Clean driving record.
- Fluent in English.
- Can travel to/from Dundalk depot each day
- Punctual and reliable.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and a forklift license are advantageous.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as required.
