Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer
Location: Ballycoolin, Dublin 11 (with travel to project sites — mainly in the Greater Dublin area, occasional nationwide work)
Position: Full-time, Permanent
Package: Highly competitive salary + company vehicle (remuneration based on experience)
JCPS Mechanical Ltd, one of Ireland’s leading mechanical services contractors, is seeking a Qualified Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer to join our team. This role will involve working on a wide range of projects, delivering high-quality installations, maintenance, and repair services for advanced HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain HVAC and air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in customer systems and equipment.
- Respond to emergency call-outs for leaks, breakdowns, and other urgent issues.
- Work with various air conditioning brands, primarily Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and Daikin.
- Interpret technical drawings and plans to ensure accurate installations.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site.
- Supervise or oversee work as required.
Requirements
- Fully qualified in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (completed apprenticeship).
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar service and installation role.
- Detailed knowledge of HVAC systems, techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Experience in supervising work teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge of industry safety, F-Gas, and legal regulations.
- Plumbing experience (advantage).
