Control Risks is looking to hire a Jr Crisis Management & Resilience Analyst to support a Fortune 50 tech client. This role will work under the client’s Business Continuity Management function, directly supporting the client’s needs in the crisis management, incident management, and business continuity space. We are looking for an early career professional with experience in crisis management/incident management who is looking to grow and expand their resilience experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Support the client’s business continuity management (BCM) program in planning, development, training, exercising, and execution of different projects aimed at enhancing the BCM program globally.
· Collaborate with different stakeholders to help plan and support in the execution of tabletop exercises.
· Working with senior members of the team, engage with regional stakeholder teams to assess gaps in their internal crisis response playbooks and processes.
· Assist with business impact assessments to determine core business functions, dependencies, priorities for recovery, recovery requirements, and recovery time objective(s).
· Develop and implement strategies to minimize customer impacts and ensure the timely recovery of core business functions during and after a business disruption.
· Update resilience (crisis management, business continuity, incident response, etc) trainings and awareness plans.
· Socialize crisis and resiliency concepts with the business continuity and crisis teams.
· Update CMT/IMT rosters on a quarterly basis.
Requirements
Basic qualifications
· 1-2 years' experience in business continuity, crisis management, or incident management.
· Working knowledge of crisis management, business impact analysis (BIAs), tabletop exercises, and physical security.
· Desire to grow and learn further in the resilience space.
· Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment, showcasing flexibility and agility in managing diverse tasks concurrently.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the written and oral communication skills necessary to build relationships and positively influence decision making.
