Irish Oxygen Company is a leading provider of medical and industrial gas solutions, dedicated to supplying high-quality gases and services to both the private and public sector. In 2016 Irish Oxygen partnered with the Italian company SOL Group to produce medical gases, and now supply medical gas to many of Ireland's Hospitals and Medical facilities.
We are looking for an individual that can work in a fast paced and growing environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
Essential Skills & Attributes:
- Exceptional communication skills, in person, on the phone and with all written correspondence.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and a demonstrated ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
- Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively with managers and colleagues.
- Hardworking, conscientious, and possess a positive "can-do" attitude, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and demonstrate sound critical thinking skills in all situations.
- Experience in administration is a requirement
- Experience with SAGE accounting software is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and manage customer/supplier orders received through various channels (phone, email, online).
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer/supplier queries and correspondence via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Generate and deliver accurate customer quotations.
- Request supplier Quotations
- Accounts receivable
- Bad debt collection
- Process customer/supplier payments, issue receipts
- Invoice management. .
- Credit Control & Creditor Management
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to staff, including general office duties.
- Participate in training to enhance skills and stay up to date with company procedures.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to €20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
