We are currently hiring for the open position of Experienced Parts Advisor to work alongside the team in our busy Mullingar workshop.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Receiving goods inwards.
- Check off deliveries and input the information on the DMS.
- Efficiently manage all telephone, and counter enquiries.
- Serving general public, trade & Internal workshop customers.
- Picking and preparing orders for trade, retail and workshop customers.
- Create and complete parts returns to distributors.
- Assisting with stock control.
- Assist in stock checks when required.
- Liaise with parts staff regularly on stock movements.
- Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping are achieved within the parts department.
- Communicate and build a rapport with the other departments.
- Work as part of a team to achieve company, departmental and personal targets.
- Flexible approach to work tasks.
- Undertake any other duties or activities as required.
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Have 2-3 years relevant experience in a similar parts position.
- Have an interest in the motor industry.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to work to high standards.
- Have excellent communication, interpersonal & customer service skills.
- Possess strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Be diligent, with a flexible approach to work.
- Have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Work well under pressure.
- Be motivated and energetic.
