Description
One of our growing offices, based in Cavan, are currently recruiting for an Payroll Specialist to join their high achieving team. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end payroll processes for a portfolio of clients across various sectors, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full payroll cycle for multiple clients (weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls).
Process starters, leavers, and statutory leave (sick leave, maternity, paternity, etc.).
Submit payroll data and process through Revenue’s PAYE Modernisation (RTI) system using ROS.
Calculate PAYE, PRSI, USC, LPT, BIK, and pension contributions accurately.
Prepare and issue payslips, P45 equivalents, and year-end statements
Handle payroll queries from clients and employees in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with CSO returns and Revenue audits where applicable.

Key Requirements
Third level degree or similar qualification.
Experience in a similar role desirable.
Part qualification from one of the Accountancy bodies.
Basic knowledge / experience of both corporate and personal tax computations.
Highly motivated with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
Good technical skills.
Positive can-do attitude and a team player.
Team player with strong communication and leadership potential.
