Pharmacy Technician
We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a permanent, part-time position. The role will involve 2 to 3 days (15 - 22.5 hours) a week. Our working day is from 9.50am to 5.20pm. A degree of flexibility will be required, to cover holidays etc. but there will be no late evenings, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
The successful applicant will work as part of a dynamic team, alongside another technician to support our Supervising Pharmacist dispensing prescriptions, delivering expert advice, in a positive environment.
The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a community pharmacy dispensary, be highly personable, motivated, have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team.
Essential Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician Qualification
- 2 years' experience working in a community pharmacy dispensary
- Experience processing end of month claims
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and approachable nature
- Customer focused with the ability to deal with the public, in a friendly professional and confidential manner
