We are currently looking for a procurement analyst to join our team in Maynooth.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve sourcing strategies
- Develop and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Evaluate supplier bids, contracts, and proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements and budget constraints
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and finance teams to align procurement plans with construction schedules
- Assist in drafting and issuing purchase orders, and service agreements
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to assess supplier capabilities and pricing trends
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance
- Support forecasting and budgeting efforts by providing data-driven insights on material and service costs
- Maintain procurement documentation and ensure adherence to company policies, quality and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Third Level qualification in Business / Supply Chain but with a keen interest in the Construction Industry
- Proficient in MS Office with Advanced Excel
- Knowledge of building materials is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of ERP Systems is desirable.
