As part of our strategic growth, we are expanding into the heat pump sector, providing sustainable and energy-efficient heating solutions to homes and businesses across Ireland. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Heat Pump Installer to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
The Qualified Heat Pump Installer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of domestic and commercial heat pump systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a passion for renewable energy technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission air source and ground source heat pump systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Carry out servicing, diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on heat pump systems.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics for system installations.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest industry standards, adhering to safety protocols and building regulations.
- Work collaboratively with electricians, plumbers, and other trades during installations.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Complete necessary paperwork and reports including commissioning certificates and compliance documentation.
- Participate in training and stay up to date with the latest heat pump technologies and industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully qualified plumber, refrigeration technician, or heating engineer.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience installing and commissioning heat pump systems (air-to-water or ground source preferred).
- F-Gas certification is highly desirable.
- SEAI registration or familiarity with SEAI standards is an advantage.
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
- Full clean Irish driving licence.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
