Aramark currently requires a Retail Supervisor to manage the day-to-day running of the 'One Stop' shop and coffee shop in University Hospital Galway. Reporting to the Retail Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the retail, deli counter, and coffee shop services.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Assist in completing the store's operational requirements by scheduling and assigning
- Comply with Aramark procedures in respect of Opx and system requirements
- Implement Aramark policies and protocols that will maintain future retail operations
- Assist with store targets, scorecard & payroll
- Conduct regular 360 audits to make sure the shop is functional and presentable
- Make sure all staff comply with Aramark policies and procedures
- Co-ordinate daily front-of-house/back-of-house retail operations
- Assist in the delivery of a monthly inventory of all shop stock
- Follow and implement Aramark's health and safety policy and procedures
- Identify current and future customer requirements by understanding sales mixes
- Act as our store representative and set an example for our staff
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Ensure retail unit is merchandised and all stock lines are presented in line with approved planograms
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- In the absence of the Retail Manager, be the lead operator of the retail unit
- Any other duties deemed appropriate by the Retail Manager

Candidates must possess:
- Experience in a supervisor role
- A passion for delivering an excellent service
- Experience with the use of Food Hygiene practices, for example, HACCP
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & organisational skills to liaise effectively with various other departments
- Outgoing personality is reliable & dependable
- Flexible and the ability to work under pressure and prioritise
- Strong attention to detail
