The Landmark Hotel is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Events Sales Coordinator to join our team. This role focuses on selling and coordinating events & weddings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a sales-driven environment, actively converting enquiries into confirmed bookings while ensuring exceptional event delivery.
We can offer full-time or part-time hours for the right candidate, with pay commensurate with experience.
While prior experience in events, weddings, or sales is advantageous, we welcome applicants with the personality, ambition, and drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive event sales and revenue growth, meeting and exceeding monthly and annual targets.
- Respond promptly to all event and wedding enquiries, conduct site inspections, and convert leads into bookings.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients to secure repeat and referral business.
- Prepare detailed function sheets and liaise with all departments to ensure flawless event execution.
- Assist clients with event planning, including menus, signage, and collateral.
- Act as the primary on-site contact during events, ensuring smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns for events and weddings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers and partners to enhance packages and offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings, and revenue forecasts.
Requirements:
- A confident and personable individual with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability (or strong desire) to achieve sales targets and goals.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Previous experience in event/wedding sales, hospitality, or similar roles is beneficial but not essential.
