Senior Event Manager
Leisure Box and Swords on Ice are vibrant events based in the heart of Swords, Co. Dublin. We’re passionate about delivering a safe, fun, and inclusive experience for customers of all ages, from recreational visitors to skating clubs and school groups.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our events. This role includes staff supervision, ice maintenance, program planning, customer service, financial oversight, and ensuring overall safety and efficiency, perfect for someone with strong leadership and operational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ice Management.
- Maintain health and safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance throughout the facility
- Manage budgets, financial reports and inventory.
- Encourage community engagement by collaborating with local schools, clubs, and businesses.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff; evaluate performance and promote customer service excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in a management role.
