WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
This role will work as part of the Commercial team in Ireland, responsible for the trading relationship of Ornua brands with Key Customer Accounts. It will report to the Head of Sales Ireland.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Own and lead customer strategy, delivering against revenue, volume and profit targets. Build senior level partnerships which influence across external and internal stakeholders. Deliver brilliant end to end commercial execution from pricing, promotions to NPD and budgeting which supports internal processes like forecasting Full Customer P&L ownership. Leadership, coaching and development of two direct reports within the commercial team.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience of 5 years or more in senior account management roles ideally within the FMCG /CPG sector. Established strong working relationships with Tesco, Dunnes & Musgraves in Ireland . Strong commercial instincts with a passion for building sustainable growth plans. Exceptional negotiation, communication and relationship building skills. Analytical mindset combined with financial acumen and the ability to draw value-add insights from several data sources. Situational leadership underpinned with the ability and confidence to make critical and agile decisions. Deep knowledge of the Irish grocery channel is a prerequisite, while some multi-channel experience is desirable. Well established knowledge of brand building and category management in how they help support customer and partner growth plans.
