Third Party Sourcing Business Partner
Full Time Role
Role Profile
An exciting, new opportunity has arisen to join our Supply Chain & Operations Team. We are currently recruiting for the role of Third Party Sourcing Business Partner which will have responsibility for the development of partnerships and relations with Third Party Suppliers and Co-Manufacturers to meet our growth and ambition agenda in the dairy and agri sector. The role will deliver value by collaborating with other internal stakeholder functions and with other processors and Third Parties. The role will report to the Head of Third Party Sourcing and is based in our Head Office at Abbey Quarter, Kilkenny, or our Dublin office in Citywest.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to working across diverse Business Units in a global landscape, and help shape the Third Party relationships function for the future
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Third Party Sourcing Manager and other Team members for screening, selection and management of all Co-manufacturers to Tirlan.
- Managing and Maintaining an updated Register of all Third Parties.
- Management of KPI’s for Third Party Co-manufacturers providing weekly/monthly reports and analysis.
- Regular review of key performance measures to manage performance and instil a rigorous set of interim checkpoints to ensure successful outcomes.
- Performance Management of SLA’s for all relationships with Third Party Co-manufacturers.
- Establishing appropriate governance structures with our partners and ensuring that signed Contracts are maintained and updated on a regular basis.
- Proactively assess anticipated challenges with existing and new Third Party Suppliers and Co-manufacturers plan to ensure early resolution and contingency plans are in place.
- Supporting the Business Innovation forum business process where the need for Third Party Co-manufacturers are identified.
- Management contract negotiations with new potential Third Party Suppliers and Co-manufacturers.
- Developing good communications and relationships with existing Third Party Suppliers and Co-manufacturers as well as all internal stakeholders.
- Present status updates and report on potential issues and options to new planned projects on an ongoing basis.
- Delivery to timescales will be particularly important, and will require delivery to agreed completion dates as well as controlled escalation and interventions to meet these deadlines.
- Management reporting through the Tirlan Kainexus business Excellence system.
- Management of continuous improvement projects through the 3 M and COVA platforms.
- Transition management of new TPM’s through the Tirlan TPM playbook model.
- Risk Management
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience of best-practice project in managing Third Parties.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skill
- Experienced in managing budgetary requirements and constraint
- Strong Experience in addressing key business issues with relevant senior stakeholders.
- Commercially focused.

Experience in a dynamic environment, working in FMCG/Retail or Supply Chain/Production environments is preferred but not essential.
- Previous contract management experience is preferred.
