We are now seeking a Trainee Welder/Fitter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop a career in welding and metal fabrication within a structured and progressive company.
Key Responsibilities :
As a Trainee Welder/Fitter, your duties will include:
- Assisting in the fabrication and fitting of metal components
- Learning to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Supporting experienced welders and fitters on various projects
- Using hand tools, grinders, and cutting equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Committing to training and development plans
- Working both in the workshop and on-site (as required)
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- A genuine interest in welding, metalwork, or mechanical fitting
- Willingness to learn and follow instruction
- Good work ethic and timekeeping
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Desirable (but not essential):
Any prior experience with tools, machinery, or fabrication (e.g. from school, hobbies, or previous jobs)
Relevant qualification or course in engineering, metalwork, or welding
