Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in vendor operations, including governance and change management processes.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the request for proposal (RFP) process, contract negotiation, and defining clear performance goals for vendors.
  • Experience in Project leadership.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing priorities while comfortably interacting with executive leadership.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate project details from business, process, and technical perspectives.
  • Excellent program management, organizational and execution skills with the ability to work collaboratively within teams.

About the job

This team's focus is to streamline and enhance the effectiveness of how Google works with external recruiting vendors. In this role, you will use operational accuracy, data analysis, and relationship-building to optimize vendor performance. You will ensure optimal performance of recruiting vendors, acting as a center of excellence for vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee vendor adherence to agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and quality standards. Implement strategies to continually elevate vendor productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage transitions, process improvements, and technology updates within vendor operations.
  • Build strong relationships with recruiting stakeholders. Understand their priorities, communicate vendor progress, and align vendor capabilities with business needs.
  • Analyze performance data to pinpoint improvement areas, translate findings into actionable insights, and effectively communicate solutions to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to identify gaps, assist root cause analysis, and ensure vendors execute improvement plans.
