Veterinary Receptionist *Location: AllPets Veterinary Hospital, Drogheda *Position Type: Full-time, Permanent *Start Date: August/September 2025 *Salary: €13.50-€14.42 per hour *Working Hours: 40 hours (5 days) per week, Monday to Saturday *Weekends: 1 in 2 Saturday shifts with a day off during the week in lieu *No Sundays, Bank Holidays, or out-of-hours work The Role: We are seeking a friendly, confident, and organised receptionist to join our dynamic and experienced team. This is a client-facing role that requires exceptional communication and multitasking skills. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, providing front-of-house support and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at our small animal practice. Key Responsibilities: *Greeting clients and managing appointments using our tailored booking system (Merlin) *Answering phone calls and responding to client queries professionally and efficiently *Handling payments, processing transactions, and managing end-of-day cash procedures *Managing stock levels and assisting with deliveries, including light lifting *Maintaining cleanliness and high standards throughout the practice *Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties *Building product knowledge to assist clients with queries About Us AllPets is a busy Small Animal Veterinary Hospital located in the bustling town of Drogheda. Our premises is equipped with modern facilities to cater for all kinds of medical and surgical emergencies, some referral work and general first opinion care. Our facilities include: *Designated dog and cat waiting areas, consultation rooms and patient wards *2 operating theatre spaces *3 consultation rooms, operating theatre, prep room, kennels and staff canteen *Diagnostic equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, dentistry, and in-house blood analyzers Our team is made up of 24 experienced, driven professionals: 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Veterinary Nurses, 3 Receptionists, 3 Animal Care Assistants, 1 Accounts Administrator and a Practice Administrator. We have a collaborative, supportive and friendly environment focused on excellent patient care and staff development. About You We are looking for a trustworthy and proactive individual who thrives in a busy, client-focused setting.
