The Opportunity
We are looking for Vice President to join our Client Accounting as part of our financial services business in Dublin.

About the Role
The Vice President reports to the Senior Vice President(s) and supports the Client Accounting department with a Central Bank Regulatory Reporting focus. Primary responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Senior Vice President(s) to manage a team of qualified accountants, ensuring that all obligations for the team are fulfilled (daily, weekly, monthly etc.).
- Oversight, review and preparation of Central Bank registration, periodic reporting and other ad-hoc regulatory requirements on an ongoing basis.
- Establishing and maintaining the financial books and records for a portfolio of SPVs.
- Oversight of client deliverables within the client portfolio to ensure adherence to corporate service agreement.
- Acting as the key liaison point with the Central Bank, auditors, lawyers, originators, investment managers, arrangers, aircraft lessors, operators and other relevant parties.
- Acting as the internal technical and regulatory lead for the client portfolio.
- Reviewing and assisting with preparation of periodic Central Bank regulatory reporting to required standard and deadlines.
- Reviewing and assisting with preparation of periodic management accounts to required standard and deadlines.
- Reviewing of annual financial statements to required standard and deadlines.
- Reviewing transaction documents to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Coordination of the completion of audit going concern, impairment and valuation memos and the completion of audit questionnaires.
- Scheduling audits to ensure all deadlines (CRO, ISE, transaction, tax, Central Bank) are met.
- Budgeting, forecasting and on-boarding of new clients as required.
- Mentoring team members to develop skills required to provide excellent client service.
- Working with other members of the senior management team to develop the business offering.
- Assisting the senior management team to complete ad-hoc internal administrative tasks.
What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
- A professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with c. 5 years post-qualification experience, ideally gained in industry or a corporate administrator. Candidates from a Big 4 background with financial services and management experience will also be strongly considered.
- Prior experience with Central Bank registration and periodic reporting requirements would be preferable.
- A strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, GAAP and financial and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience in accounts preparation or auditing of companies.
- Will be expected to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and have a proven track record of managing a portfolio of clients.
- Demonstrable people management experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines is a must.
