We are currently looking for a full-time Window and door fitter to join our progressive and expanding company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of windows, doors, and related products. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure all projects are completed to a high standard, on time, and with excellent customer service.
Our company is an established specialist joinery company based in Meath for over 40 years, who will offer you the opportunity to work on bespoke designs for Private and Commercial Sectors.
This is a permanent, full-time position with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and fit windows, doors, conservatories, and associated products in residential and commercial properties.
- Remove old fittings and prepare openings for new installations.
- Ensure all work is carried out to industry standards, with a strong focus on quality and safety.
- Carry out repairs, adjustments, and maintenance as required.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a window and door fitter.
- Strong knowledge of installation techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- Full Irish driving licence (essential).
- Safe pass and Manual Handling certificate (advantageous but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a professional attitude.
