Weekly Hours - 39 hrs + Overtime , Monday to Friday
Purpose
To machine sheet materials and timbers as per cutting list efficiently and make ready for further processing in a timely way.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
(this is not an exhaustive list)
- Setting up machines to start the production cycle & controlling and adjusting machine settings
- Cutting material on Panel saw and/or CNC as per cutting lists instructions
- Ensure proper cleaning and storage of all materials to avoid waste
- Maintain proper safety standards when working with all machinery
- Daily/weekly/monthly Service of all machines to a satisfactory and suitable level
- Clean as you on all machinery to maintain safety and quality levels
- To ensure correct and safe use of hand tools, power tools and factory machines
- Ensure that you are working in line with current health and safety standards
- Any other duties that may be assigned by your Line Manager
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Safe Pass is advantageous, Manual handling is required
- Minimum 3 years of operating essential on any or all of the following :
Saw Machine
CNC
Edging machine
- Shop fitting/Cabinetmaking Trade experience or qualification is essential
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Must be flexible as there will be a requirement for overtime on occasion
- Fluency in English is essential
- Experience of using hand tools, power tools
- Ability to read cad drawings and identify all components required for assembly
- Ability to work within tight deadlines in a busy environment
- Flexible approach to duties undertaken
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong demeanor as role can place physical demands and heavy lifting may be involved
- Good time keeping and reliable
- Ability to learn quickly in a busy fast paced environment
- Must be a team player
- Be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €17.00-€20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 39 per week

Experience:
