As a Tax Director within Workplace Solutions you will play a crucial role in fulfilling taxation duties. You will have knowledge of various tax reporting regimes, regulatory reporting requirements and be comfortable with high volumes, strict deadlines, and sophisticated clients. You will possess high-level written and verbal communication skills to explain technical reporting positions to internal partners and external clients. The Tax Director will lead a team of experienced tax professionals and position the team for success and growth.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely production of diverse tax reporting forms
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional business processes to identify automation opportunities and enhance client experiences
- Assist in tax projects to refine processes and procedures, including cross Line of Business (LOB) strategic initiatives
- Ensure a robust control environment that meets risk and audit requirements is maintained
- Analyze data for consistency and accuracy; coordinate with relevant teams to implement necessary adjustments
- Implement and support business-as-usual processes for continuous information reporting and withholding compliance
- Deliver tax education and training as required
- Drive team goal through effective management and ensure targets are archived
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years plus PQE as a Tax Professional , with domestic and international experience
- CTA/CPA qualification
- Strong academic background in tax, law, accountancy, or related discipline.
- AEOI FATCA and CRS reporting experience
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative and motivated team player.
- Proven track record of managing teams across multiple jurisdictions and offices
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong Global/US taxation knoweldge
- Management and mentoring experience of junior team members
- Experience in taxation of share plan accounts
