Experienced Air Conditioning Engineer – Service & Installation
Location: Ballycoolin, Dublin 11 (head office & warehouse)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Coverage: Projects mainly across Greater Dublin, with occasional nationwide travel

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer to become part of the JCPS Mechanical Ltd team. Based from our Ballycoolin headquarters, you’ll work across a variety of project sites, delivering expert installation, servicing, and repair of air conditioning and HVAC systems.
Role Overview
- Carry out installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in air conditioning equipment.
- Attend emergency call-outs to resolve urgent breakdowns and system issues.
- Work on a wide range of units, with a focus on Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and Daikin systems.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Supervise work when required and liaise directly with customers.
What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (apprenticeship completed).
- At least 5 years’ proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and materials.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Confident working independently or as part of a team.
- Clear communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Understanding of F-Gas compliance and relevant industry safety standards.
- Plumbing experience would be an advantage.
