Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Qualified Accountant to join our Finance team in Dublin. This is a key role supporting financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting activities across the business. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent Excel and analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset.The successful candidate will report to our CFO and be based in our Dublin office 2 days per week.
This is a 1-month contract so immediate availability is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Perform detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple legal entities.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Support audit, tax, and compliance processes as required.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Knowledge of cash / liquidity forecasting would be an advantage.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Fully or partly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Business Central would be an advantage not a prerequisite
- Advanced Excel skills and strong experience with financial modelling and analysis.
- Experience working with Power BI / AI or similar reporting tools is a strong advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively in a team.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with 3 days per week in the Dublin office.
