2 - 3 years strong administration experience
Leaving certificate or equivalent
Discretion and Confidentiality
Excellent IT skills and ability to use multiple software packages
Sound knowledge, awareness and experience of general administration tasks.
Awareness/sensitivity toward patient needs.
Ability to use initiative is essential
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Hospital experience essential
Duties and Responsibilities
Answering patient and hospital queries
Maintaining Patient status updates on various IT systems daily
Responsibility for following up on patient status
Responding to queries in a timely fashion
Registering patients on relevant systems
Liaising with Consultants secretaries
Liaising with Central Booking Office as required
Liaising with Admissions as required
Ensure discharge summaries are completed and submitted.
Ensuring Clinical information is completed and submitted to relevant departments
Working as part of a the team;
Carry out other general tasks, which may be assigned from time to time
