Kingsbridge Healthcare Group are looking to recruit an additional Administrator for the Procedure bookings team.

Job Title: Administrator (Procedure bookings team)

Department: Procedure bookings

Contract: Permanent

Location: Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo

Hours: 37.5 per week. Evening and weekend work required

Accountable to: Hospital Operational Planning Manager

Job Summary:

Job Summary:

To provide an efficient and professional bookings service by coordinating and scheduling patient procedures (inpatient, day case, and outpatient), ensuring accuracy and continuity of care, while maintaining a high standard of customer service and confidentiality.

We are looking for an administrator who is highly motivated and committed to producing quality results, with an eye for detail and who enjoys working in a fast paced and busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Schedule patient procedures in consultation with consultants, theatre staff, diagnostic services, and wards.

· Liaise with patients, consultants, and hospital departments to confirm bookings and provide required documentation.

· Manage appointment confirmations, cancellations, rescheduling, and waiting lists.

· Ensure appropriate pre-admission assessments and documentation are complete.

· Ensure coverage of Outpatient clinics.

· Provide administrative support to the department, including telephone and email correspondence, report generation, and record keeping.

· Work closely with admissions, ward staff, and clinical teams to ensure seamless patient care.

· Support efforts to improve patient flow and reduce delays or cancellations.

· Respond to patient queries in a courteous and professional manner.

· Ensure confidentiality and security of patient health information in compliance with GDPR and hospital regulations.

· Maintain and update electronic health record (EHR) systems with accurate patient information.

· Perform routine audits of medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness.

· Any other general duties which may be required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

· Leaving Certificate or equivalent.

· 1–2 years administrative experience in a healthcare or customer-facing role.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.

· Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

· Prior experience in hospital bookings or admissions.

· Familiarity with CRM systems

· Knowledge of medical terminology.
