.We are a diverse data team of varying backgrounds, qualifications, and skillsets. Clients today gather an ever-increasing wealth of structured and unstructured data from a myriad of sources but often do not extract the full value from this wealth of information that they hold. Our team design solutions, automate processes, create interactive visualisations, analyse for patterns, and develop predictive models to generate actionable insights from data, complementing these abilities with deep industry knowledge from their own gathered experiences as well as from across the Deloitte network. Our team works cross-functionally with other areas of Audit and Assurance as well as other Business units and gain a broad knowledge of various industries.
As a Senior Manager, you will be expected to lead various analytics engagements across various industries and specialisms including audit, conduct and regulatory risk, finance, and operations. You will also be responsible for playing a lead role in developing a team of resources as well as heavily involved in the sales process. You will also lead our ongoing talent agenda – ensuring we provide the best talent experience.
About the role:
- Lead client engagement work in a variety of industries, areas, and specialisms.
- Nurture strong client relationships that build trust and grow opportunities.
- Identify potential business development opportunities in risk analytics, data governance, data management, and emerging technologies.
- Scope, lead, and set the direction of innovative solutions using the latest open-source and proprietary technologies, our alliance network, and best-in-class methods and tools.
- Work effectively and lead diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
- Leverage industry best practices, Deloitte's global network, and your experience to create innovative solutions for clients.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, aligning responsibilities to their own learning objectives and team’s strategic objectives.
About you:
- Significant experience in leading complex data analytics engagements across the end-to-end project lifecycle, in a consulting organisation.
- Proven track record of concurrently managing multiple projects and work streams.
- Strong hands-on experience in key tools and platforms including Microsoft SQL Server, Tableau, PowerBI, Python, C#, Azure to name a few.
- Strong understanding and exposure to Machine learning, Data mining, Data visualisation, and Artificial intelligence techniques.
- Exposure to various financial and ERP systems.
- Commercial experience including writing proposals and developing new solution offerings.
- Experience influencing senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Keen interest in keeping up to date with evolving developments such as GenAI and applying them to engagements.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
