We are currently looking to recruit 6 apprentices to join our full-time apprenticeship programme based at our state-of-the-art Cross factory in Rathangan, Co. Kildare.
Requirements:
Minimum age: 16 years
Junior Certificate completed (Leaving Certificate is a plus)
Subjects such as Engineering, Technical Drawing (DCG), Woodwork, Physics, and Physical Chemistry are advantageous but not essential
No prior experience necessary; full training provided
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to read manufacturing drawings is a bonus
Past engineering experience is beneficial but not required
Apprenticeship Programme:
The apprenticeship combines four on-the-job training phases with Cross and three off-the-job training phases delivered through a SOLAS-approved educational institution.
Successful completion awards a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Metal Fabrication.
Training allowance paid by the local ETB during off-the-job phases.
Apprentices are paid above the recommended wage by ETB during their work phases
