About the Role
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Assistant Front Office Manager plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of our Front Office team. As the first point of contact for guests and a key leader for our reception staff, your professionalism, warmth and attention to detail will help set the tone for an unforgettable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the Reception team during daily operations.
- Ensure efficient shift management, including break allocation and team updates.
- Maintain high standards of guest service, consistently exceeding expectations.
- Support training and development of team members according to hotel SOPs.
- Ensure all team training is documented in line with internal procedures.
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Handle guest check-in/check-out, process payments and manage key security.
- Provide guests with accurate information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
- Handle reservations, updates and guest requests efficiently and professionally.
- Uphold hotel policies in areas such as Fire Safety, Health & Hygiene, Customer Care and Security.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar supervisory front office role.
- Previous experience with Opera Cloud is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for hospitality.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work on your own initiative.
- A proactive approach to delivering excellent customer service.
