PROBYS kitchen is a buzzing restaurant in the heart of Cork City located near Cork's St. Finbarr's Cathedra already known for its quality, community, and fresh Irish cooking, is on the lookout for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our dynamic front-of-house team.
The team behind PROBYS are Pat the head chef who was up to recently a teacher at Ballymaloe Cookery School along with Marianne & Denis who run Cafe Gusto and Liberty Grill who all shared belief of cooking from scratch with seasonal sustainable ingredients
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support a friendly team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to maintain high standards
- Liaise with kitchen and management to keep service running like clockwork
- Handle guest feedback with professionalism and care
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous supervisory or senior FOH experience in a busy restaurant or café
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- A hands-on approach and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- A genuine passion for food, people, and hospitality
- A really good knowledge of wine and coffee essential
