The role
This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to work in a specialist area in a top tier law firm and to join the only standalone products team in Ireland - working with some of the world's leading companies. We are seeking an ambitious litigation Associate to join our highly regarded products team. We have unique multi-jurisdictional experience in high value product liability litigation, with particular expertise working on litigation regarding healthcare products such as pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Candidate requirements
1 - 5 years post qualification defence litigation experience.
Experience in product liability litigation, particularly life sciences product liability defense, will be an advantage.
Candidates with a demonstrable interest in the above, along with EU and Irish regulatory law experience in fields such as medical / healthcare litigation, medical negligence, competition, financial regulation, data privacy, or will be considered.
Interest and passion in progressing and specialising in this space.
Responsibilities include
Managing complex product liability litigation, both at group and multi party level in a national and global context.
Advising pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers on all related product safety aspects of their portfolios.
Advising medical device, pharmaceutical and food and beverage clients on regulatory investigations.
Representing clients in regulatory enforcement actions, civil claims and criminal proceedings.
