The Role – Body Shop Supervisor
As our Body Shop Supervisor, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring repairs and services are completed to the highest standards. You’ll allocate work, support the team, monitor progress, and maintain safety and quality compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide body shop and cleaning staff
- Allocate work tasks and ensure deadlines are met
- Price customer work to maintain margins and manage budgets
- Carry out cosmetic and accident repairs, body panel fitting, paint prep, and finishing
- Promote services to customers, prepare quotes, and support sales targets
- Maintain inventory levels and uphold health & safety procedures
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Supervisory or team-leading experience is an advantage
- FETAC or City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Strong technical skills in body repair and paint finishing
- Good communication skills and customer service focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Work Details:
- Location: Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny (with travel to other sites if required)
- Hours: 5 days over 7 (full-time, permanent)
