Garrison Coffee Co is looking for a confident, creative Barista & Content Creator to join our team.
This is a barista first role, where you’ll work 20–30 hours per week delivering high standards in coffee, service, and pace while also supporting our social media presence through content captured on shift and during dedicated creative time.
It’s a perfect fit for someone who loves great coffee, thrives in a fast paced café, and also has a knack for photography, reels, or social storytelling.
What You’ll Do
As a Barista:
- Serve excellent coffee with speed, precision, and warmth
- Work solo and with senior team members on shift
- Open and close the shop confidently
- Maintain Garrison’s high standards in service and cleanliness
As a Content Creator:
- Capture authentic content for Instagram (reels, images, short videos)
- Use your phone (and any tools you already love) to edit and prepare content
- Get direction and support from the Head Barista and directors
- Bring fresh ideas, keep an eye on trends, and help us build a consistent brand presence
- Appear in content if you’re comfortable, or stay behind the camera if that’s more your style
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year’s barista experience in a busy, quality led café
- A solid handle on service: confident with dial-ins, workflow, and volume
- Experience creating content for personal, or professional brands
- A passion for social media, content creation, and visual storytelling
- Bonus if you’re currently studying marketing, digital media, or similar
- Comfortable working with your phone and using editing apps (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
- Proactive, reliable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the Garrison brand
