We’re on the lookout for a Barista who can not only deliver great coffee and service, but also help bring our story to life online. This is primarily a barista role (20–30 hours weekly), with the added opportunity to capture and create content that shows off what makes Garrison unique.
If you’re someone who thrives in a busy café environment, takes pride in top quality coffee, and has an eye for reels, photos, or social storytelling, this could be the perfect fit.
Your Role
On Barista Shifts:
- Serve consistently high quality coffee and food with speed and care
- Work both independently and alongside senior team members
- Take responsibility for opening/closing duties
- Keep service, cleanliness, and pace to the highest standards
On the Creative Side:
- Capture real moments in shop for our socials (short videos, reels, images)
- Edit and prepare content using your phone or preferred tools
- Collaborate with our Head Barista and directors on ideas and direction
- Spot trends, suggest fresh concepts, and help maintain a strong brand presence
- Feature in content if you’d like, or stick to filming behind the scenes
What We’re After
- At least one year’s barista experience in a quality driven café
- Comfortable with dial ins, service flow, and working under pressure
- Previous experience producing content (personal or professional)
- A genuine interest in social media, photography, or digital storytelling
- Bonus: studying marketing, digital media, or a similar area
- Confident using editing apps like Canva, CapCut, or similar
- Reliable, proactive, and excited to be part of what we’re building at Garrison
