Join DB Engineering & Consulting, a leading global railway company, as a Configuration Manager in Dublin, Ireland. Contribute to transformative railway infrastructure projects across Ireland, focusing on the deployment of signaling and telecom systems like ETCS and GSM-R. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the comprehensive strategy for configuration management aligned with both project and organizational objectives.
- Set up configuration management plans, policies, and procedures, ensuring consistency, integrity, and traceability of all project items.
- Manage configuration baselines throughout the project lifecycle, including phases such as development, production, and maintenance.
- Oversee and monitor the configuration change process, ensuring all alterations are reviewed, authorized, and properly documented.
- Guarantee accurate documentation, tracking, and traceability of all configuration items throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain precise configuration documentation, including status reports, version control, and release notes.
- Work in close collaboration with project teams, quality management, engineering, and other stake-holders to align configuration management processes with project needs.
- At least 3 years of experience in configuration management, with a solid background in large-scale infrastructure, engineering, or technology projects.
- Proven experience in leading configuration management efforts for intricate, multi-disciplinary projects.
- Ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with railway systems and infrastructure projects
- Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements, including site visits and client meetings.
