The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant who wants a flexible, part-time role in a supportive and growing company.
- Hours: 20 hours per week (e.g. 5 mornings or split across the week – we’ll work with you to make it fit)
- Hybrid: Primarily work from home with one day a week in our Donnybrook office (possibly two days a month in the future)
- Team: You’ll work closely with our CFO and Senior GL Accountant and become an important part of our small, friendly finance team
What You’ll Do
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Process invoices, payments, expenses, and credit cards
- Carry out bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records
- Monitor and support cash flow management to ensure the business runs smoothly
- Liaise with suppliers and partners, occasionally assisting with contract negotiations
- Assist with VAT / PAYE / RCT returns
- Support in preparing management accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and reports
- Contribute to ad hoc finance and admin projects
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years’ experience in a similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English (you’ll interact with colleagues and partners daily)
- Ability to work independently with a positive, can-do attitude
- Experience in group structures is an advantage
- Most importantly, once you’re up to speed, we’d love you to bring your own initiative and help us improve how we do things
