We have an opportunity for an ambitious and driven Branch Manager to join our successful team based in Limerick
In this role you will be:
- Responsible for the operations and effective management of the various functions to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the branch.
- Responsible for the line management for branch staff, including recruitment, training, and development.
- Setting and attaining monthly turn over targets and identifying areas of potential growth.
- Driving the branch performance to achieve profitable revenue growth based on assigned budgets and the company’s overall objectives.
- Reviewing and ensuring appropriate health and safety standards are applied.
- Overseeing processes and ensuring compliance and legislation are up to date and maintained within transport, fleet, and environment teams.
- Ensuring sufficient amount of stock is available for hire and equipment is maximised to its full potential.
What will help you to excel in this role:
- Substantial management/supervisory experience ideally within the hire industry
- Good mechanical knowledge of plant or vehicles
- Strong commercial awareness
- Good understanding of health and safety principles, standards and practices
- Ability to motivate, drive and develop a successful team
- Excellent communication skills and team player.
