Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Supplier and Vendor management
- Progressing and expediting orders with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries
- Raising purchase requisitions and orders
- Liasing with external inbound logistics to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Ensuring cost effectiveness of all purchases and deliveries
- Ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained, including the monitoring of back orders
- Updating ERP to ensure accurate and timely maintenance of all data
- Product Returns
- Expiry date monitoring and stock rotation
- Receiving goods and checking for damaged or missing items
- Checking accuracy of product details with supporting paperwork
- Assisting with stock taking to ensure accurate stock data maintained
- Internal and external stakeholder management
- Monitor performance of suppliers and escalate promptly and accordingly any non-conformances
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role.
- Proficient in MS office and excel
- Experience of using ERP system
Desirable criteria
- Third level qualification, preferably in procurement or stock management.
